Tucson Product Session
If you’ve been following along, you know I’m all about family and maternity portraits, graduation sessions, and capturing those big life moments. But every once in a while, something different comes along that’s too good to pass up. That’s exactly what happened when Cinnamon from Vegan Orgasms reached out for a product photography session.
Cinnamon and I first connected when I photographed her son’s graduation pictures, and from that first session, I knew she was special. She’s genuine, easy to work with, and has this energy that just makes everything more fun. So when she launched her business, Vegan Orgasms, creating organic, cold-pressed juices with zero preservatives, I was thrilled to shoot her branding photos. Now, here we were again, this time focusing on her gorgeous products.
For this session, we headed to Tohono Chul, one of Tucson’s most beautiful desert gardens. If you haven’t been, you’re missing out—it’s stunning. When you’re photographing organic products made from fresh fruits and vegetables, placing them in a natural desert setting surrounded by native plants and cacti, is obviously the go to. The backdrop brought Cinnamon’s brand to life in a way that a studio just couldn’t capture.
Her husband came along as our assistant (shoutout to supportive spouses!), and we spent the afternoon moving through different spots in the garden, finding the perfect light and compositions for her three juice flavors. And yes, we need to talk about those names—Thirst Trap, Morning Wood, and Foreplay. If that doesn’t make you smile, I don’t know what will. The playful branding is so Cinnamon, and it made the whole shoot that much more fun.
What I love most about working with Cinnamon isn’t just that she’s a joy to photograph—it’s that I get to be part of her story. Watching a local Tucson business grow from the ground up, being there for different chapters of that journey, and having her continue to trust me with capturing those moments? That’s amazing.
Vegan Orgasms isn’t just about juice though. Cinnamon is bringing something important to our community—a focus on balanced, healthy living rooted in real nutrition and fitness. Her products come in four different sizes, made fresh without any of the junk you don’t need. It’s the kind of local business that makes Tucson better.
This product session pushed me outside my usual comfort zone, and honestly? I loved it. While portraits and family sessions will always be my main focus, I’ve opened up my services to include branding photography for local businesses. If it aligns with my outdoor photography style and supports our Tucson community, I’m here for it.
There’s something really satisfying about helping local entrepreneurs tell their visual story, especially when they’re as authentic and passionate as Cinnamon. Seeing those final images—her vibrant products against the desert landscape—reminded me why I love what I do.
